 What's New for the 2024 Chevrolet Trax?
The Chevrolet Trax returns in 2024 after a short hiatus, bringing exciting updates in all key areas. Compared to the previous 2022 Trax, the 2024 Chevrolet Trax is larger and has a more engaging, modern style. This compact crossover's design includes a raked liftgate, bold lower-body molding on the doors, and a crisply angled accent above the molding. The smooth hood is athletically defined on the sides, and the LED headlights boast a stunning, narrow band of light. A triangular element underscores the headlights and surrounds the thick fog lights. Exterior features may include a sunroof, up to 19-inch alloy wheels, heated and powered side mirrors, and roof rails.
The interior of the 2024 Chevy Trax has also been refreshed with angled, converging layers on the dashboard and a driver-centric center stack. The base trim level comes with modern essentials, such as an 8-inch central display screen, a wireless internet hotspot, wireless smart device app connections, a lane departure alert, forward collision detection with mitigation and lane keeping. With higher trims and optional packages, the Trax may also be outfitted with heated front seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel with heat, remote start, a push-button ignition, a larger central display screen, a digital driver's panel, adaptive cruise control and blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic sensing.
The five trims offered for the 2024 model year are the LS, the 1RS, the LT, the 2RS, and the Activ. All are comparably equipped under the hood with an all-new powertrain. This is a turbo three-cylinder, 1.2-liter engine. Front-wheel drive and six-speed auto transmission are standard across all 2024 Trax trims.
