Performance
The 2023 Colorado is available in five trim options, and all are outfitted with a four-cylinder, turbo 2.7-liter engine. It has three output options. These are the 237-horsepower Turbo, the 310-horsepower Turbo Plus, and the 310-horsepower Turbo High-Output. The Turbo High-Output produces 430 pounds-feet of torque while the Turbo Plus generates 391 pounds-feet. The 2023 Silverado 1500, on the other hand, has four engines. The top gas engine is a 420-horsepower, V8 system, and a 305-horsepower, turbo-diesel V6 is another option.
Appearance
The midsize Colorado has a fresh look for 2023 with a tall cabin and a flat yet well-defined hood. The wide grille is accompanied by rectangular headlights that run horizontally, a prominent bumper, and black air vents. On the sides, the Colorado has smooth contouring on the upper portion of the door panels, and chiseled accentuation runs from end to end. The Silverado 1500 is a larger, taller vehicle with a flatter hood and a commanding front-end design. The grille is wider, and a Z-shaped LED bar wraps around the headlights. The bumper is dressed up with a chrome skid plate. The sides are similarly accented, but the definition over the fenders is more strongly defined.
Features
The 2023 Colorado is available with equipment like a Bose sound system, a sunroof, numerous advanced driver's aids, driver's memory settings, a wireless charging pad, a heated seating wheel, leather upholstery, remote engine start, and others. The Silverado 1500 has these features, and it is also available with a bed-view camera, a head-up display, a trailer-view camera, a power-sliding rear window, and several additional features.
