 What's New for the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox?

The Chevrolet Equinox is a small crossover SUV that has maintained its popularity among drivers in the Eastland area over the years. In 2024, the Equinox is a mid-generation version that introduces a few updates. The Driver Confidence II package is only offered with the LS trim level and is enhanced with a rear cross-traffic alert and a blind-spot monitor. It continues to have rear parking sensors. Another change to the 2024 Equinox is the new availability of two exterior colors. In addition to the exterior colors that carry up from the 2023 model year, Riptide Blue and Lakeshore Blue are available.

Throughout the interior, exterior, and engineering, the other aspects of the 2024 Equinox are identical to the previous model year. The façade is captivating with its winding side accents and rounded, chrome-accented nose. The grille has an ascending quality with horizontal bars and an outward trend. Metallic elements also accessorize the prominent air vents and draw attention to the headlights. These LED headlights are strikingly narrow and boast a solid light bar and a row of small bulbs. Exterior features may include a hands-free liftgate, up to 19-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, roof rails, trim-specific badging, rear privacy glass, and auto high beams.

The 2024 Equinox has a spacious interior with comfortable seats across both rows and a great selection of technologies and features for you to enjoy. The base LS trim includes a wireless hotspot, two USB ports, a 7-inch touch display screen, satellite radio, and wireless smart app connections. With the higher trim levels and optional packages, the Equinox may also come with remote engine start, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a dual-zone climate control system, a larger touch display screen, a household power outlet, a seven-speaker Bose sound system, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and others. The Equinox is also well-appointed with many advanced safety features, including automated parking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, a back-up camera, and a few additional features.

For 2024, all trim levels are outfitted with a turbo 1.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. This 175-horsepower system includes a six-speed auto transmission with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available as an upgrade for all trims.
